Our Story
Present by Armston began with a simple belief: sobriety deserves to be celebrated as something full of life, not defined by what is missing.
I wanted to create the sort of things I would genuinely choose for myself or give to someone I love—beautiful, useful pieces with warmth, humour and meaning. Not recovery merchandise that felt clinical or loud. Not slogans that turned a whole person into a label.
The name Present is about being here for the mornings, conversations, choices and ordinary moments that make up a life. It is also about giving: recognising somebody’s journey with something thoughtful that says, “I see you, and this matters.”
Not perfect. Present.
This brand is for every version of sober: people in recovery, people choosing an alcohol-free life, people taking things one day at a time, and the friends and families standing beside them.
We are beginning with made-to-order bottles, T-shirts and mugs, with more ideas to come. Every piece is designed to make sobriety feel visible without being preachy, celebratory without being sentimental, and personal without being precious.
“Your journey. Your choice. More mornings, more memories, more life.”
This page is the beginning of the story. As Present grows, I’ll share more of my own journey here—the honest parts, the funny parts and everything I have learned about choosing my own way.
